Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) the Nigerian business registering company, had their business activities on Tuesday paralysed at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission following an industrial action by members of staff of the commission.

The industrial action led to the closure of the premises of the commission in Abuja thus preventing members of staff as well as well as the general public from conducting any time of business transaction.

The workers are protesting the non payment of allowances as well as poor welfare condition

Punch correspondent who visited the commission observed that posters with various inscriptions were displayed at the gate of the commission.

Most people said that they never thought, a commission like CAC could go on strike, I also did not think so myself, but a hidden source said insiders knew this was going to happen… But the question is how long, lot of businesses are on still, waiting for their business in Nigeria to be registered before going on with its activities, for investors and potential business customers who only believe in their ability to work if they are registered
